Throughout the pandemic it's been hard to get out to our favorite spots. So having themed nights at home is one of my favorite ways to feel a little like normal. Grabbing a take away or replicating your favorite meal at home is a nice way to curb those dining out blues. My personal favorite used to be happy hour margs and chips at my hometown authentic Mexican joint. This was obviously long before I even moved to Salt Lake since happy hour and fun is pretty much banned in the vast state of Utah.
I love all margaritas, let's be honest, but a new favorite of mine has to be a spicy margarita. I love a little kick of heat and so do the Real Housewives of Orange County. (where I originally got the idea to try it) basically anything those bitches do I'm down to try. Within reason of course. They always seem to have a good time and that's what life is all about, right?
So here is my favorite recipe for making your own spicy margarita at home, socially distanced just as the CDC recommends. If you make this recipe don't forget to tag me on social and use hashtag #winemomcocktails
